From Pit to The Pit
After the Larsen years, it was clear to Pit that the band years were over. He started working on a solo four track CD called "Sensible". The well known Aquarius Studio was chosen to record these tracks. With John Wooloff on guitars and bass guitar, and Jean Ristori as engineer, Pit had a great time recording these songs.
The CD was a limited edition hand-signed release and was a fairly small success. In 1992, without any help with promotion and marketing, and without a website, streaming platform or social media, it was clearly difficult to be heard.
Deeply dark and reeking of pain, this mini-album was born. It was a hard time for Pit and you can feel it in the sounds, the voice, the atmosphere and the colours on this CD.
And Pit became The Pit
With this new album, The Pit have clearly moved away from the ambience of "Sensible", except for the piano and synthesizers, the real dna of The Pit.
